New Work expanding in Warsaw

Hungarian serviced office space operator New Work, which is owned by Property Systems Group, has leased 2,260 sqm of office space in Hochtief’s Mazowiecka 2/4 building in downtown Warsaw. Savills advised the tenant – who entered Poland last year leasing space in Warsaw’s Wilanów Office Park complex – during the lease negotiations.

The operator now has a total of 5,500 sqm of space in two locations in the city and is planning further expansion. By the end of this year, New Work wants to have a combined 12,000 sqm of space in five locations in the Polish capital, said Hubert Abt, the CEO at Property Systems Group.

According to Savills data, there is approximately 94,000 sqm of flexible office space in Warsaw. In 2017 alone, serviced and co-working space operators signed lease agreements for more than 31,000 sqm in the city.
