OECD CLI for Poland inches down in August

The Composite Leading Indicator (CLI) for Poland decreased by 0.2 points m/m in August to 99.1 points. In y/y terms, the indicator decreased by 1.27 points.

The composite leading indicator is designed to provide early signals of turning points in business cycles showing fluctuations in economic activity around its long-term potential level. CLIs show short-term economic movement in qualitative rather than quantitative terms. The 100 point level is the long-term average indicator.
