Approximately 209,000 sqm of office space was leased in Warsaw in the third quarter of this year, which marks a 5.7% decrease upon Q2 and a 5.2% increase upon Q3 2017, according to Colliers International data. The most office area leased in the period in question (33%) is located in the city center. The biggest lease transactions signed in Q3 2018 include the lease by Deloitte of 22,100 sqm at Q22 (renewal and extension) and the lease by WeWork of 14,200 sqm at Mennica Legacy Tower (new deal). The latter transaction testifies to the growing activity of co-working space operators in the Warsaw market. In Q3 2018, tenants from that sector leased more than 33,000 sqm, which accounts for 16% of the total demand recorded in the city in the period, said Olga Drela, senior analyst at the advisory and research department of Colliers International.
