A total of 674,600 sqm of office space was leased in the eight biggest regional markets in Poland – Kraków, Wrocław, the Tri-city, Katowice, Poznań, Łódź, Szczecin and Lublin – last year, according to Polish Office Research Forum (PORF) data. The most tenant activity was recorded in Kraków (200,800 sqm) and Wrocław (169,500 sqm). The largest transactions signed in the analyzed markets in 2017 include the lease by a confidential tenant of 25,500 sqm at Poznań’s Nowy Rynek project and the lease by Credit Agricole of 15,500 sqm at Wrocław’s Business Garden II scheme. At the end of last year, a combined 432,700 sqm of office space remained vacant in the eight regional markets in question. The lowest vacancy rates were recorded in the Tri-city (8.2%) and Poznań (8.6%).
