Developer P3 Logistic Parks last year signed lease agreements for a total of more than 400,000 sqm of industrial space in Poland, with new deals having accounted for a combined over 290,000 sqm. The largest transactions included the lease by Kuehne + Nagel of almost 56,000 sqm and the lease by JYSK of more than 36,000 sqm in the P3 Piotrków logistics park in central Poland.
According to P3, companies are now increasingly often looking for large warehouse areas. Current tenants of the company tend to expand and take up additional space, while new clients are these days often interested in the lease of areas sized more than 30,000 sqm, said Piotr Bzowski, the leasing and development director at P3 in Poland.
In 2017, P3 completed 190,000 sqm of new warehouse space in Poland. Construction work on a further 88,000 sqm is now underway. This year, the developer will launch a new project located on a 50-hectare plot next to the P3 Poznań park. “We are also looking for new locations where we will be able to continue our growth,” said Andrzej Wroński, managing director Poland, group head of asset management at P3.
