Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) has launched a Polish exports promotion program called “Promoting the economy with Polish product brands – Polish Economy Brand” aimed at allowing Polish producers to reach new markets. “The program offers Polish companies tremendous opportunities to reach markets they have not yet been able to become familiar with: the far away Asia, continually important Europe and the very promising Africa and Latin America,” said Tomasz Pisula, head of PAIH.
The Ministry of Development has selected 12 priority sectors with the highest chances for success. Nine of these industries will receive support from PAIH: furniture, fashion & accessories, yachts, cosmetics, medical equipment, biotechnology & pharma, construction, machinery, automotive and aviation. The food sector will be promoted by the National Center for Agricultural Support (KOWR), the successor of the Agricultural Property Agency (ANR); the IT industry – by Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP) and the medical services sector by the Polish Tourist Organization.
