PAiH supported FDI increased to €1.2 billion y/y in Q3 

The value of foreign direct investments (FDI) in Poland serviced by the Polish Investment Agency and Trade (PAIH) increased by 70 percent y/y to €1.2 billion at the end of the third quarter, the agency has announced.

PAIH has been involved in 36 projects so far this year, with the largest being a €320 million factory in Nysa for Belgian company Umicore. The factory manufactures components for batteries installed in electric cars.

Companies from Belgium lead the ranking of the largest investors in Q3 2018 with investments of €340 million, followed closely by the US (€332 million). Germany (€196.7 million) is third in terms of investments this year.
