Wojciech Fangor, Jacek Malczewski, Jan Stanisławski, Zdzisław Beksiński or Teodor Axentowicz – just a few names from a group of valued artists, which works will be available for the auction on December 19 in DAES auction house.
That day, DAES opens its new location in Warsaw at ul. Piękna. In addition to the artists of the avant-garde, there will be several interesting objects available for auction – XIX century silverware or lamps, to name a few.
Auction will feature Wojciech Fangor’s M53 – one of the most recognizable abstract pieces of the 1960s, from his op-art and minimalist artistic experiment. From the handicraft category, a notable item that will be auctioned is an exquisite silver kettle by Stephan Mayerhofer & Carl Klinkosch (ca 1840).
