PKP Intercity signs PLN 31.7 mln contract with Alstom to provide Wi-Fi on Pendolino trains

PKP Intercity has signed an agreement with Alstom for the installation of Wi-Fi devices and maintenance five years in 20 of the ED250 series trains (Pendolino) for PLN 31.7 million, the companies have announced.

The installation will start in September. The first Pendolino trains with access to wireless internet will be on the tracks later this year. The Alstom teams in Warsaw will be responsible for the installation.

PKP Intercity is the largest long-distance railway carrier in Poland. In 2017, it carried 42.8 million passengers.
