Poland likely to remain top EU funds beneficiary – Kwieciński

“Poland will likely remain the largest beneficiary of EU funds in the 2021-2027 perspective, due to the country’s size and the fact that the country will strongly benefit from its two largest budget positions: the cohesion and agricultural policies, Investment and Development Minister Jerzy Kwieciński said.

He also added that declarations coming from the EC point to a 7 percent cut in EU’s cohesion funds and a 5 percent cut in agricultural policy funds, including direct subsidies that will be 4 percent lower than in the previous EU financial perspective.
