Poland’s PMI grows in April

The Purchasing Managers Index has slightly grew to 54.1 points, up by 0.6 points from March.

“Rises in output and new orders, along with notable employment growth, were key components behind the strong start to the second quarter. On the price front, both input and output price inflation remained sharp but eased in April,” Markit said.

The headline Markit Poland Manufacturing PMI is a composite single-figure indicator of manufacturing performance. It is derived from indicators for new orders, output, employment, suppliers’ delivery times and stocks of purchases. Any figure greater than 50.0 indicates overall improvement of the sector.
