Poland’s renewables share at 11% – Eurostat

The share of renewable energy sources in energy consumption in the European Union reached 17 percent at end-2016, the EU statistics office Eurostat announced. In Sweden, more than half (53.8 percent) of consumed energy came from renewable sources. Finland was second (38.7 percent), followed by Latvia (37.2 percent), Austria (33.5 percent), and Denmark (32.2 percent)….
