Visas could be abolished for Polish citizens traveling to the US as early as next year provided the rejection rate falls below 3 percent by end-September, from the current 5 percent, according to US consul in Poland Thomas S. Zia. He said that each year 200,000 Poles visit the US, and the number of tourist visa applications is 20 percent higher than it was in early 2017.
