As many as 71 percent of e-commerce companies have no anti-fraud tech solutions, while only 35 percent have implemented procedures preventing chargeback frauds, a recent report prepared by advisory EY and Nethone stated.

“An increasing number of companies are deciding to offer their products abroad, where payment cards are the predominant payment method. … The share of card payments is growing, and with it the scale of the payment fraud problem,” said Nethone CEO Hubert Rachwalski.

Among companies, where above 20 percent of transactions are effected with payment cards, 64 percent declared they experienced incidents of fraud over the past 12 months.
