Polish firms wait shorter for invoice payments than others from CEE – survey

In 35 percent of cases, Polish firms delay invoice payments, however, the result is better than in other CEE countries, a survey by Atradius company showed.

Atradius surveyed some 1,000 firms from Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Turkey. When it comes to Poland, transactions with delayed payment deadline accounted for 30.7 percent of the total domestic sale and 26.6 percent of exports.

The CEE average in case of domestic sales stood at 42.9 percent, in case of exports – 38.4 percent.
