PM Mateusz Morawiecki and Israeli PM Benjamin Netanjahu signed a joint Polish-Jewish declaration condemning any form of antisemitism and other negative national stereotypes, including referring to Nazi concentration camps of the Second World War as “Polish concentration camps.”

“I believe it is a good day, not only for the Polish history, but also for historic truth and for Poland’s future,” said Morawiecki. “For the first time it is being admitted all over the world that there is a sort of anti-polonism and that Poland was once a weak country that allowed its opponents and often enemies to rewrite the narrative,” he added.
