The recent opinion poll carried out by CBOS showed that an overwhelming  majority, i.e. 86 percent of respondents said that the Polish labor market does not need more immigrants. Only seven percent of survey participants claimed the opposite.

What is interesting, one quarter of the respondents believed that a foreign, not a Polish candidate, with similar qualifications, may be favored by a potential employer in a recruitment process.  On the other hand, 22 percent of surveyed persons said nationality plays no role in this context.

The opinion poll was conducted via direct interviews in May 14-20.
