Investment growth in the first quarter of 2018 was significantly higher than in the fourth quarter of 2017, the Minister of Investment and Development, Jerzy Kwieciński, informed the Polish Press Agency (PAP) today. He added that he was surprised by the scale of revision of CSO data.
On Monday, the Central Statistical Office (GUS) revised its data on investment growth in the fourth quarter of 2017 to 5.4 percent from 11.3 percent.
“As for investment in the fourth quarter, I am surprised by such a strong discrepancy between the initial data and that of yesterday. The disproportion is very high, I will have to look at it and analyze it,” said Kwieciński.
