Q3 GDP growth at 4.9%

Poland’s Q3 GDP grew by 4.9 percent y/y, Central Statistics Office GUS said revising earlier estimate which stood at 4.7 percent. In q/q terms GDP increased by 1.2 percent.

A breakdown of the growth showed total consumption added 3.2 percentage points to the annual growth rate, foreign trade 1.1 percentage point and investment added 0.6 percentage points.

In Q3, investments increased by 3.3 percent, while domestic demand by 3.9 percent y/y.
