Retail sales in Poland up 6.5% in August – Eurostat

In August retail sales in Poland grew by 6.5 percent y/y following 7.7 percent annual growth in July, Eurostat reported. On the monthly basis, retail sales fell by 0.7 percent. The annual data has been adjusted by the number of working days, and the monthly data is also seasonally adjusted, Eurostat specified.

Eurostat data includes the smallest companies employing fewer than 10 employees (family stores) but excludes car sales.
