Retail sales in Poland up by 5.6% y/y in May 

Seasonal adjusted retail sales in Poland increased by 5.6 percent y/y in May 2018, the EU statistical office Eurostat has provided.

In monthly terms, retail sales in Poland decreased by 0.1 percent.

In the whole of the European Union, retail sales increased by 0.3 percent in monthly terms, while in annual terms it increased by 2.3 percent y/y.

According to the Central Statistical Office (GUS), retail sales (in current prices) in May increased by 7.6% y/y.
