A total of 174,500 sqm of office space was leased in Wrocław in 2017, which marks a 40-percent increase upon the previous year, according to the latest report by Cresa Polska. The largest transactions included the lease by Credit Agricole of 15,500 sqm at Business Garden 2 and the renewal by Credit Suisse of a lease agreement for 14,000 sqm at Grunwaldzki Center. Absorption reached 72,400 sqm at the end of last year. The supply, by contrast, was the lowest in six years, the Cresa Polska study said. Over 53,500 sqm was completed throughout 2017, which brought the total existing office stock in the city to more than 906,000 sqm. Major projects delivered in the Wrocław market last year include Green2Day (17,600 sqm, Skanska), Bielany Business Point (12,000 sqm, Megapolis) and Wroclavia (7,500 sqm, Unibail-Rodamco). At the moment, almost 230,000 sqm of new office space is under construction in Wrocław, which is scheduled to be completed within the next two years.
