Developer Skanska Property Poland has obtained an occupancy permit for the third building in its Silesia Business Park office complex in Katowice. One of the largest business parks in the city, Silesia Business Park will comprise four buildings, each of them offering 12,000 sqm of leasable area, when fully developed. To date, lease agreements for a total of more than 23,000 sqm of space have been signed in the complex which is located on the site of the former Baildon steel plant. Each of the buildings in the complex is expected to be LEED-certified at the ‘Gold’ level. In October last year, Skanska sold the first two buildings in Silesia Business Park to a fund managed by Swedish investor Niam.
