S&P upgrades its GDP forecast for Poland to 4.2%

Ratings agency S&P upgraded its GDP growth outlook for Poland to 4.2 percent for this year (from the previous 3.6 percent), and to 3.8 percent for 2018 (from 3.1 percent).

At the same time, S&P revised the public debt deficit to GDP ratio to 2.6 percent this year and 2.8 percent for 2018. Previously for both years, it stood at 3 percent.

The public debt to GDP ratio will amount to 50.6 percent for this and the next year. It stood at 51.2 percent and 51.7 percent for 2017 and 2018 respectively.
