The British publishing house, Hodder & Stoughton, has signed a contract with Katarzyna Bonda, a Polish crime writer, to publish her book series about forensic psychologist Sasza Załuska.
“I do not read Polish, but I was intrigued by the plot of the English summary – a double narrative time frame, extending from a contemporary murder case until the time of Solidarity, with a strong character and a lot of twists and turns. I am fortunate that my colleague, Joanna Kaliszewska, read the books in the original version and loved them, so we decided to publish them,” said Nick Sayers, a publisher at Hodder & Stoughton.
The first book of the series, Girl at Midnight, will be released in 2017.
Hodder & Stoughton is a British publishing house, home to renowned authors as Jeffery Deaver, John Grisham, Sophie Hannah, Stephen King, Jodi Picoult and David Nicholls.
