Poland’s largest oil refiner, PKN Orlen, is set to become the sole shareholder of its Czech subsidiary Unipetrol after shareholders agreed to the forced buyout of shares representing approx. 5.97 percent of the share capital.
Unipetrol – part of the PKN Orlen Group – has launched production of aviation fuel at its refinery in Litvínov, which will increase the production capacity in this segment by approx. 30 percent to the level about 200,000 metric tonnes per year, PKN Orlen has reported.
The Management Board of PKN Orlen has decided to launch a series E issue of bearer bonds as part of the public bond issue program addressed to individual investors, the company said.
