IMF raises GDP growth forecast in Poland to 4.4% in 2018 

Economic growth in Poland will accelerate to 4.4 percent this year, while next year it will slow down to 3.5 percent, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has forecasted. This means a rise in the forecast for 2018 presented in April by 0.3 percentage points.

Unemployment rate at 5.8% in September

September unemployment rate remained unchanged compared to August and stood at 5.8 percent, the Minister of Labor Elżbieta Rafalska said. The number of unemployed people in September was about 948,900, which is 9,700 less than in August. On the annual basis, unemployment decreased by 15.1 percent.
