The assets of Polish investment funds (TFIs) rose by 2.1 percent in January month-on-month to PLN 213.4 billion, according to Analizy Online.
Natural resources funds and securitization funds saw the biggest increases, by 16 percent and 4 percent, accordingly. In the case of cash funds, the growth stood at 2.8 percent reaching PLN 29 billion.
Debt funds assets grew by 2.7 percent to PLN 43 billion, the highest asset value across all fund types. However, while debt funds investing in Polish bonds grew the fastest (due to historically low treasury bond yields, standing below 2.0 percent), those investing in foreign debt decreased in asset value.
