Strategic market research company Euromonitor International organized its 2nd exclusive seminar in Poland – FMCG and Retailing: Reshaping Strategies in a Connected World, dedicated to the top-level executives from FMCG companies, financial sector, consultancies, governmental and trade organisations. The event was organised in cooperation with the major Polish business media outlet “Wiadomosci Handlowe”, business magazine „Warsaw Business Journal“, trade magazines „Pet market“ and „Chemia i Biznes“, news portals „Wirtualnekosmetyki.pl“ and „Handel w praktyce“.
The seminar consisted of 2 presentations with networking sessions in-between, a panel discussion and wine reception at the end. The event was attended by 70 top-level managers from 51 company.
During the 1st part of the event Mr. Georgij Grebinskij, Research Manager at Euromonitor International presented major economic scenarios and their impact on FMCG industries in Poland as well as the whole CEE region, discussing opportunities and challenges the companies face in the context of today‘s global economy.
The 2nd presentation by Euromonitor International Senior Research Analyst Ms. Marija Milasevic discussed new retailing concepts in the region, as well as changes within the traditional retailing sector, which are driven by digital consumers and their preferences.
During the 3rd presentation-panel discussion Ms. Jurgita Biceika, Head of CEE Sales at Euromonitor International together with the guests speakers Ms. Sofia Lelakowska, Head of Global Beauty Alliances and Mr. Alessandro Beda, Digital Transformation Strategy Lead CEE at PwC discussed a portrait of today’s consumer, analysing the key trends which impact consumers globally and regionally.
