Warsaw’s Zielony Targówek retail park changes hands

Real estate investor and fund manager Catalyst Capital has finalized its €194-million acquisition of three retail assets in Sweden, Germany and Poland and an office development in Paris for the new €1-billion Catalyst Core Plus European Property Fund. The transacted assets include the Zielony Targówek retail park in Warsaw, which the buyer bought from Credit Suisse Asset Management. The property is located in the eastern Targówek district of the Polish capital and totals 25,000 sqm. It is currently 85% leased out to 12 international and domestic retailers. “These three retail investments provide a stable, long-term income with the potential for value enhancement through asset management and development initiatives which will generate attractive returns for our investors,” commented Kean Hird, partner at Catalyst Capital and the manager of the fund.
