WSE to open Polish-Belarusian IPO Center

The Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE), the Polish-Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Belarus State University have signed a letter of intent to create a Polish-Belarusian IPO Center, the WSE announced.

The aim of the agreement is to build a professional center for education, consultation, and legal advice for Belarusian companies. The intention of the Polish-Belarusian IPO Center is to conduct activities aimed at facilitating access by Belarusian companies to modern sources of financing using the Polish capital market,” the WSE said in its statement.

The document was signed during the 20th Polish-Belarusian Economic Forum “Good Neighbors 2016,” held during deputy prime minister Mateusz Morawiecki’s visit to Belarus.
