Zień is closing its last outlet in Warsaw and the company’s minority stakeholder is mulling withdrawing from the venture, Puls Biznesu daily reported. Designer and founder of the firm, Maciej Zień went to Brazil a few months ago, abandoning its business.
Józef Kosiorek, the minority shareholder at Zień asked by the daily if the company is going to undergo operational activity replied that “maybe it will not,” adding that he is considering selling its stake.
Atelier and e-store have been already closed.
Shutting down the outlet is a symbolic end of the brand and the final stage of a conflict which emerged between the designer and the investors a while ago.
