As much as 40 percent of Poles claim that low earnings are the biggest reason for frustration. This is the result of the study "Attitude to finances" carried out at the request of the BIG InfoMonitor Register of Debtors. 

Low wages were the biggest cause of frustration for 18-24-year-olds, 25-34-year-olds and those aged 45-54, with almost 50 percent of respondents in these age groups citing low pay as a cause of frustration. People aged 35-44 were slightly less frustrated (39 percent of respondents).

According to the National Statistics Office (GUS), in 2018 average net earnings were PLN 3,261 per month (PLN 4,585 gross).
