Finnish Nokia's shares plunged to the lowest level in six months after it failed to supply 5G telecoms equipment in time. The company’s core networks business generated a loss of EUR 254 million during the first quarter. In Q1 2018 Nokia reported a profit of EUR 46 million.

Nokia said a failure to book about EUR 200 million of net sales related to 5G in North America weighed on its Q1 results. It expects to reach this goal in 2019.
