EC increases pressure on Poland to solve constitutional crisis

The European Commission said on Wednesday that unless Poland makes significant progress on solving the constitutional crisis by Monday, May 23, it will send its opinion to Warsaw, which may lead to launching the second step of the rule of law procedure.

FT: 4,000 financial sector jobs have migrated to Warsaw since 2011

Warsaw has attracted 4,000 jobs in the financial sector in the past five years as annual operating costs in the Polish capital are 60 per cent lower than in London, according to consultancy Boyd estimates prepared for the Financial Times.

European Council President Donald Tusk said that Boris Johnson, who compared the EU to Nazi Germany in an interview last week,  “crossed the boundaries of a rational discourse, demonstrating political amnesia.”
