Eurostat: HICP inflation in euro area up to 1.3% y/y in XII
HICP inflation in the euro area amounted to 1.3% y/y in December 2019 against 1% y/y a month earlier, the EU statistical office Eurostat reported according to preliminary data. Market consensus was 1.3% y/y.
Full HICP inflation data for December will be published on January 17 this year.
