Eurostat: Retail sales in Poland up by 5.9% y/y in November

Eurostat: Retail sales in Poland up by 5.9% y/y in November

Seasonally adjusted retail sales in Poland recorded an increase of 5.9% on an annual basis in November 2019, the EU statistical office Eurostat said. On a monthly basis, retail sales in Poland increased by 3.3%. In the entire European Union, retail sales increased by 1.9% on a monthly basis, while on an annual basis they increased by 0.6%.


According to the Polish Central Statistical Office (GUS), retail sales (in constant prices) increased by 5.2% y/y in November 2019, while in current prices it was higher by 5.9% than a year before.
