Markets DNA Business climate indicator surprises by improvement in moods
The beginning of the new year brought a marked improvement in almost all components of the Markets DNA indicator. The reading signals a much smaller threat of a decline in GDP growth. Currently, it is certain to maintain the growth rate above 3 percent in the next two quarters, DNA Markets team stated.
“The January reading of the Market DNA Indicator indicates a clear improvement in the economic situation. This is the first such increase in 10 months and at the same time the largest improvement in 3 years. Both current assessments of the economic situation (horizontal axis) and the prospects for the next two quarters (vertical axis ) have increased,” the report reads.
