Richard Branson, who aims to commercialize space travel, is now taking remote work to the next level. For those who work from home, he offers a cruise that allows one to both work and explore Southern Europe: Cannes, Civitavecchia, Ibiza, and Majorca.
"Working from home no longer means being tied to a desk or a home office, or eating leftovers for lunch," Nirmal Saverimuttu, CEO of Virgin Voyages, stated.
What does such a journey entail? From June to September, passengers can embark on a four-week cruise, visiting coastal cities such as Cannes, Civitavecchia (Rome), Ibiza, Palma de Mallorca, and Ajaccio (Corsica). They will also benefit from a concierge service that assists in planning their month-long adventure. Whether it involves booking a Korean BBQ at sea or arranging a day trip to explore the picturesque Cinque Terre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, reports Virgin Voyages.
How much does this attraction cost? The Scarlet Summer season pass includes four consecutive cruises, starting at $9,990 (approximately PLN 40,000). This rate is for two people. All accommodations have air conditioning, a balcony, laundry services, non-alcoholic beverages, coffee, tea, and meals (there are 20 restaurants onboard).
