Poland ranked 27th out of 38 economies in the Wealth of Nations Index (WBN), published by the Warsaw Enterprise Institute (WEI), which assesses GDP and the quality of public spending in EU and OECD countries. Ireland topped the list, followed by Switzerland and Norway.
Poland maintained its 27th place overall and 18th within the EU. The country improved in defense spending but dropped in infrastructure spending. The report suggests Poland has the potential for improvement through reforms, particularly in education and health. By seizing current opportunities for growth and addressing its deficiencies, Poland could climb in the index and achieve greater prosperity.
