55% of Polish students use AI every week
Some 55% of Polish 15-year-olds use AI for learning at least weekly, compared with 46% across OECD countries, according to the Polish Economic Institute. Daily use reaches 27% in Poland versus 19% across the OECD. Meanwhile, 62% of Polish students learned at school how to verify AI-generated content. Across the OECD, students using AI for learning once or twice weekly achieved the highest average science scores, while frequent use for other schoolwork was associated with weaker results. Poland showed no statistically significant negative relationship.
Researchers caution that correlation does not establish causation, as weaker students may seek AI help more often. More frequent use also correlated with curiosity and independent goal-setting.
