AAA Auto: median price of used cars increased by PLN 6,000 m/m in June
The median price of used cars in Poland rose by PLN 6,000 m/m to PLN 40,900 in June, with the total number of cars increasing to 251,803, according to AAA Auto's report. The increase in prices reflects broader economic factors, including rising costs of production and services, impacting consumer purchasing decisions.
This trend is driven by higher new car prices influenced by increased production costs such as energy prices. As a result, prices of used cars, including nearly new ones often replacing new cars, have been steadily rising since the beginning of the pandemic, sometimes by several tens of percent.
AAA Auto operates as part of Aures Holdings, a subsidiary of Abris Capital Partners, with 63 branches including 14 in Poland, selling 25,000 used cars in Poland in 2023.
