Agricultural drought in seven provinces
Agricultural drought occurred in the period from June 21 to August 20 in seven provinces: Kuyavian-Pomeranian, Masovian, Podlaskie, Greater Poland, Warmian-Masurian, Łódź, and Lublin, as reported by IUNG on Friday.
The Institute of Soil Science and Plant Cultivation - State Research Institute reported that in the tenth reporting period, from June 21 to August 20 of this year, the water deficit for cultivated plants increased compared to the previous reporting period. On Monday, IUNG reported agricultural drought in five provinces.
"Due to the prevailing moisture conditions in the tenth reporting period, we confirm the occurrence of agricultural drought in the country," was conveyed.
