Only 3% of organizations in Poland are fully prepared for modern cyber threats, according to the Cisco Cybersecurity Readiness Index 2025. Most firms—large and small—face growing risks, especially from AI-powered attacks. 86% experienced AI-related incidents, and over half suffered cyberattacks in the past year.

Complex security systems, lack of skilled professionals, and poor monitoring of unauthorized AI use (Shadow AI) weaken defenses. Small businesses are especially vulnerable—18% were targeted, 14% hit, and 40% see cyber threats as their top risk. Despite this, 82% of SME owners feel underinformed. While AI offers security potential, poor strategy and low trust hinder its use. Experts call for better education, institutional support, and streamlined cybersecurity systems to boost resilience.
