Allegro names Roy Perticucci new chief executive officer

E-commerce platform Allegro appointed Roy Perticucci new chief executive officer, the company said on Monday. Perticucci will replace Francois Nuyts from September 1. “We will continue along the strategic path outlined by the company because consumer needs stay intact - the widest possible choice, the best possible price, and the greatest possible convenience remain key," Perticucci said in a statement.
Perticucci has over 20 years of experience in managing international e-commerce companies, as well as a strong track record in building international organizations. During 2013-2020, he managed European operations and logistics at Amazon. Previously, he held senior positions at Ahold, Dixon's, and Tesco in Europe.
