Allegro receives billion zlotys from EIB for developing AI
Allegro has secured a PLN 1 bln financing facility from the European Investment Bank (EIB) to support investments in artificial intelligence, research and innovation. The funding will cover nearly 40% of the company’s planned R&D spending in the coming years, including the creation of an AI competence center focused on machine learning models, large language models and data mining. Allegro said the six-year facility offers attractive financing terms and will help accelerate investments in software development, data analytics and AI capabilities.
The EIB described the agreement as an example of its role in strengthening Europe’s digital and economic competitiveness through support for advanced technologies.
