Allegro takes services beyond its marketplace
Allegro plans to expand beyond its marketplace by offering logistics, financial and advertising services to companies selling through other channels. CEO Marcin Kuśmierz told Puls Biznesu the offer will launch next year, initially with selected partners. He said Allegro wants to make better use of infrastructure and capabilities already built for its own platform rather than create new systems from scratch.
Kuśmierz said partner interest has exceeded expectations, in logistics, where Allegro operates more than 11,000 parcel machines. The company is building a team in China to identify new products and trends and connect Polish sellers with manufacturers that can meet EU legal and tax requirements. Allegro is developing more than 100 AI projects across customer service, checkout, seller tools and shopping assistance, while maintaining its target of reaching break-even in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary in 2029.
