In October, 49% of Poles expected a further decline in inflation, while 44% believed that prices would remain at the same level, according to a cyclical survey conducted by the market research firm Ipsos. The percentage of those who predicted a faster price increase decreased to 7%. Ipsos evaluated that these are record optimistic forecasts concerning inflation.

An improvement in attitude is also observed when it comes to assessing the situation in the country. The percentage of people who assessed the course of affairs in Poland positively increased by 12 percentage points to 36%. These are the most optimistic results in Ipsos research since August 2020.
