Almost one-third of Generation Z employees take gigs to earn extra

In Poland, 30% of employees from Generation Z take additional jobs to earn some extra money, on top of their regular salary, a Deloitte report revealed. The rising cost of living is the biggest concern of young generations indicated by 48% of Generation Z respondents and 53% of Millennials.

Globally, last year, 46% of Generation Z employees and 37% of Millennials took up a second paid job, an increase of 3 and 4 percentage points compared to 2021. The percentage of representatives of generations Z and Y experiencing professional burnout increased to 52% and 52% respectively.
