Marking its tenth year in Poland, Amazon reaffirmed its dedication to local operations and future growth. Senior VP Russell Grandinetti emphasized Amazon’s plans to continue investing in Polish technology centers, e-commerce operations, and employment expansion.
Grandinetti highlighted the contributions of Polish engineers, who play a key role in developing technologies for Alexa, AWS, and other Amazon products. He also noted that Amazon’s Polish team created some of the company’s most advanced logistics facilities, supporting its global service network.
Amazon has become Poland’s largest American employer, directly employing 20,000 people and supporting an additional 50,000 jobs. Since launching in 2014, the company has also expanded the Amazon Marketplace in Poland, aiming to increase Polish business participation. Despite regional challenges, Grandinetti praised Poland’s resilience and expressed confidence in the strong US-Poland business partnership.
